Saints in the Wilderness

The 'spiritual,' loosely so-called, is of great interest and influence in contemporary America. Yet, compared to the witness of the saints, grounded in Scripture, Tradition, and the right reason of the Liturgy, we are in a culture stripped of grace. There is great nunger for God/god; but what does it mean to say that we are called to be saints in an environment of competing 'spiritualities' and 'values'? During the coming year, Fr. Conner will look at some of the divergent spiritual, historical, and cultural forces at play around us and the possible response/challenge of the saints (us) to these pressures.

His talks will begin at 12:00 noon and run for about half an hour.

Coffee Hour Forum

On Sunday mornings during the latter part of coffee hour, from about 12:00 noon until 12:30, we have a forum in the underoft for learning about the Christian faith and discussing essential aspects of the life of our parish family. Most the program for the coming months derives from Fr. Ronald Conner's Saints in the Wilderness.
