Theology Book Club
THE THEOLOGY BOOK CLUB meets regularly in the parish house or in the home of a club member to discuss books and other documents of interest to club members. Sometimes the books are recent; somtimes they are selected from among the classics.
The theology book club has read and discussed a wide variety of books. Here are some examples:
- John Milton's Paradise Lost and Paradise Regained,
- Selections from C.S. Lewis's A Preface to Paadise Lost,
- JohnHenry Newman's Apologia Pro Vita Sua,
- The Encyclical Letter “Deus Caritas Est" of Pope Benedict XVI.,
- The Problem of Pain by C.S. Lewis,
- The prose and poetry of George Herbert,
- Selected works of T.S. Eliot, G.K. Chesterton's Orthodoxy.
